CUTigers recently caught up with Edisto High School junior power forward Brice Johnson, who visited Clemson for the South Carolina football game.

"It was good. I had fun," Johnson said. "I liked the game—that stood out to me a little bit."

His last visit to Clemson was for the elite camp Brad Brownell hosted at the end of the summer. Johnson had also played in an AAU tournament at Clemson.

The four-star is ranked as the No. 18 power forward in the class of 2012. Along with Clemson, he's picked up offers from Florida, South Carolina and Georgia Southern.

Johnson said he also has interest in Florida, Ohio State, Wake Forest, Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech.

"I don't really have favorites. I'm looking right now, I haven't narrowed down any favorites yet," he said.

As he continues with the recruiting process, Johnson will be looking at a place "that he can go in and play."

Clemson is an intriguing option to him.

"It's close to home and it's a good school all around," Johnson said.

On the Clemson, assistant Earl Grant handles Johnson's recruitment.

Johnson plans to have his decision made by the end of next summer. Top Stories
