Crest High School (Shelby, N.C.) junior defensive end Jonathan Bullard visited Tigertown for the Presbyterian and South Carolina games.

CUTigers caught up with him recently to talk about the trip for the South Carolina game.

"It was pretty good. I still liked the atmosphere—the crowd, they were really into it, behind the team," Bullard said. "Even though they were down, they were still behind them."

Head coach Dabo Swinney spoke with Bullard and teammate Rhaheim Ledbetter on the first trip.

"This time, I didn't come real early, like I did last time. My coach brought me last time and my brother brought me this time," Bullard said. "I talked to a few of the coaches, but it didn't really get into detail."

He also saw games at North Carolina and N.C. State this season.

Bullard claims no favorites at this time.

"I really don't know, because I don't have any offers, so I don't know," he said.

Crest lost in the North Carolina 3AA state championship at Carter-Finley Stadium on Saturday night.

Bullard finished his season with close to 100 tackles and 25 tackles for loss.
