Anthony with five

The ESPN/Under Armour practice kicked off Saturday as some of the nation's top players hit the field for day one in Orlando. Anson County senior linebacker Stephone Anthony talks about his top five.

Stephone Anthony checks in as the fourth highest ranked outside linebacker and was one of the five star prospects who lived up to the hype day one.

"Practice went real good for me I got my feet wet and after a while I got used to everything. I was flying around out there and things were real fun for me."

Anthony is from Wadesboro (NC) Anson high school and is down to five schools and talked a little about each one.

"The Gators are still there right now they are one of my favorites. I need to get down to Florida and build that relationship with coach Muschamp. It's good that coach DJ Durkin is staying and that's going to help a lot because he is the one that I have built that relationship with and I need to see how things go when I get down there for my official this weekend coming up. We are back to step one right now getting the feel for it and getting used to the next group of coaches and hopefully my parents will get the feel for it also."

Virginia Tech:

"My relationship with Virginia Tech is real strong and I have been up there a bit and it's a fun place to be and they are going to play great football. Coach Beamer is a great guy and coach Foster is a guy that runs a great defense. Coach Beamer finds a way to win, every year he finds a way to win."

"Clemson is still there with me. It's just got to continue to work out with them. I have a great relationship with the coaches at Clemson. Everything is good down that way I got the feel for them."

North Carolina:

"The Tar Heels and coach Davis are great. It's a great school and a great place to play football. If they had all of the players no telling where they would be at right now. I think they are a team on the rise and have a great class right now. I watched the bowl game it was a great defensive game both defensives played great. The game had your heart racing a little bit and Carolina kind of slipped out there with one."

Anthony made an unofficial trip to North Carolina State the Sunday after the ACC Championship game and talked about the visit and where the Wolfpack stand.

North Carolina State:

"The trip to North Carolina State was great. I went up with my dad, Brandon and Johnathan to watch bowl practice. It was a real good trip for all of us to get up there and watch practice and see how they do things. I have a good relationship. Top Stories
