Anthony talks Clemson visit, Pagan

One of the Palmetto state's top offensive linemen discusses his visit to Clemson.

OT Shaq Anthony Profile

Shaq Anthony visited Clemson this weekend, and by all accounts, the trip exceeded even his own expectations.

"It went real well," he said when reached by CUTigers. "Had a great time at the banquet seeing C.J. (Spiller) and everything. It went good."

Hosted by Antoine McClain, Anthony said he enjoyed that aspect as well.

"We just had a good time overall," he said. "We got along really good just as I thought."

Anthony said he spent the majority of time talking to one prospect in particular that was uncommitted - four-star defensive lineman Jeoffrey Pagan.

"I did," he said. "I talked to Pagan quite a bit and I think we are good shape right there."

Anthony will take no other visits and remains firm to his commitment to Clemson.

The son of former Clemson athlete Vernie Anthony, he has a brother who's a student at Clemson too and there's no doubt he'll sign with the Tigers on Feb. 3.
