CUTigers caught up with the Rockdale County (Conyers, Ga.) senior defensive tackle after his trip.

The best experience from the weekend was running down the hill in Death Valley with his jersey on.

"When we went to the stadium and got to go down the hill with our jerseys on, that was cool, because it put us in a real mode," he said. "They showed us the new highlight film on the megatron at the stadium. That was nice, so that was probably like my favorite part."

Jarrett was hosted by freshman cornerback Martin Jenkins.

"It was good spending time with Martin, and some of the other guys," Jarrett said. "We didn't just stay with the host. We were with the whole team, because we'd all have to go to a certain place. It was all good. It was cool, fun."

Also on the trip, Jarrett met new defensive ends coach Marion Hobby for the first time.

"He was cool. He spoke to me about himself. He seemed like a real good guy. He'll be real good for the university," Jarrett said. Top Stories
