"It was good building on previous relationships and bonds, and meeting new people," he told CUTigers.

The Lamar High School two-star middle linebacker, which ranks as the No. 73 prospect at the position, was hosted by Justin Parker.

Parker, who was making his official visit to Clemson around this time a year ago, shared some plenty of advice with his future teammate.

"He told me what the main changes were, from high school to that point," Goodson said.

Goodson's meeting with head coach Dabo Swinney was on Friday, shortly after he arrived.

"He was telling me to appreciate the relationships that you build. When you leave, that's all you have, the relationships that you've built with your friends," Goodson said.
He also had several conversations with defensive coordinator and position coach Kevin Steele.

"He was just talking about me and the system, everything," Goodson said. Top Stories
