Shuffling things around

Chris Rumph's departure from Clemson has changed Clemson's standing with a three-star offensive lineman from Georgia.

At one time, Lithonia High School junior Joe Harris claimed Clemson as his leader.

"Ever since coach Rumph left, I haven't really had anymore interest in Clemson, because that was my recruiter," he told CUTigers. "Clemson isn't one that I've been looking at."

But Clemson isn't completely out of the picture.

"I've still got interest in them. Right now, I'm just looking at my options, weighing my options out basically," Harris said.

Alabama, South Carolina, Georgia Tech, Georgia and Auburn are the five schools that he's considering the most.

"The schools I'm hearing from the most right now are Alabama and South Carolina. Those are the top two schools that I'm hearing from," Harris said.

The three-star offensive guard has visited Alabama for junior day at the end of January. That's the only visit he's planned to make, at least until the summer.

Right now, he has offers from Clemson, South Florida, N.C. State, Minnesota, Georgia and Alabama. Top Stories
