CB T.J. Davis Profile
Once every week, junior T.J. Davis talks with Clemson recruiting coordinator Jeff Scott.
Davis talked to CUTigers about his most recent conversation with Scott.
"They were looking at finalizing with all the seniors. It was a few days before signing day," he said. "He wanted to get me there on a visit, to see what it's like."
Though Davis has never visited Tigertown, he's heard good things. During his freshman year, he met McDaniel. Ever since, the two have kept in touch.
"I talk to him a lot. He tells me it's a great place to be. He said if I want to go play there, they've got a great coaching staff that can get you to the pros," Davis said.
He's up to 18 offers, and though he recently claimed Florida State, Ohio State and Auburn as three schools that had been standing out, Davis told CUTigers he has no leaders.
Recently, he's visited Auburn and Florida State. In the next couple of weeks, he plans to visit USF, Miami and Alabama.
Several criteria will be evaluated as Davis continues with the recruiting process.
"The environment the school's in. The coaching staff, the way the coaches interact with the players. I want a family to be around. I want it to feel like home," Davis said.
