Four-star forward visits Clemson

The top in-state player from the class of 2012 was back in Clemson earlier this month for Clemson's game against North Carolina.

Edisto High School junior power forward Brice Johnson spoke to CUTigers shortly after wrapping up his visit to Tigertown.

"It was a good atmosphere," he said of the game, which Clemson lost 64-62.

"It's nice. It's pretty nice."

Johnson got into town around Noon and not long after the game.

"We talked to the coaches in the locker room after the game," he said. "It was the whole staff."

His last visit to Clemson was in the fall for the South Carolina football game.

Along with Clemson, South Carolina, Florida and Georgia Southern have offered.

Are there any favorites?

"Not really, I don't have an order right now," he said.

He's also taken recent visits to Florida and South Carolina.

The four-star said he'll wait "at least" until the end of the summer before making a decision.

Clemson assistant coach Earl Grant is running the point on Johnson's recruitment for the Tigers.

Johnson averaged 20 points and 15 rebounds during his junior season at Edisto. Top Stories
