Clemson hoops hosting prospects

Brad Brownell and the Clemson basketball staff will welcome several prospects in for Saturday's game against Virginia Tech.

The following is a list of confirmed guests for Saturday..

C.J. Ford - Westover (Fayetteville, N.C.) - 2012 PG
Ford last visited Clemson when the Tigers' football team had its last game of the 2010 season. After leaving campus, he told CUTigers that he hoped Clemson would offer.

Saturday's trip will be his second visit to campus.

Miami, VCU and East Carolina have offered and there are plenty of others expressing interest in the three-star point guard.

Kyle Meyer - Northview (Duluth, Ga.) - 2012 C
Meyer last visited Clemson in the fall for homecoming. On that trip, his first to Tigertown, he was able to get some run on the hardwood with some of the players already on the team.

He lists Clemson in his top-three with East Carolina and Iowa. The Indiana-native has received offers from the Pirates and Hawkeyes, but not the Tigers.

If offered, he'd project as a Clemson commitment.

Reggie Dillard - Dudley (Greensboro, N.C.) - 2012 SG
The junior guard last visited Clemson for the North Texas football game and he has plenty of interest in Clemson.

Wake Forest, Miami and VCU are among the schools along with Clemson that are expressing interest. VCU, Tulane and North Carolina-Greensboro have offered.

Patrick Rooks - Charlotte Christian (Charlotte, N.C.) - 2013 SG
The Anderson-native is a lifelong Clemson fan and he continues to hold the Tigers in a very high regard.

Rooks currently claims no offers, but he's also receiving interest from the likes of Wake Forest and Tennessee.

Shelton Mitchell - Covenant Day School (Waxhaw, N.C.) - 2014 PG
The sophomore guard last visited Clemson in the fall for the homecoming game against Miami. Top Stories
