A good return trip for Meyer

Kyle Meyer, a three-star center from Georgia, visited Clemson on Saturday for the regular season finale against Virginia Tech.

The trip was the first-time the Northview High School (Duluth) had been to Clemson since his visit during the fall.

"It was a good trip, a great game to watch," Meyer told CUTigers. "It showed me exactly what kind of team coach [Brad] Brownell is recruiting. It gave me a good look at what each individual does, how he runs his offense, how hard he plays defense and all the emphasis he puts on it."

After the game, Meyer met with Brownell.

"He told me what he's looking at down the road," Meyer said. "He told me he wanted to come see me play a couple of more times."

Clemson has yet to offer, but he claims the Tigers as part of his top-three, which also includes Iowa and East Carolina.

Meyer said one thing in particular stood out to him about the visit.

"They take time with each of their players and point out each individual thing they do wrong and work through it, even through the game," he said. "It's like, ‘This is what you're doing wrong. This is how we're going to fix it.'"
