Clemson will host a three-star defensive end from DeMatha Catholic High School during the Orange and White game next month.

First-year defensive ends coach Marion Hobby recently extended a Clemson offer to Michael Moore.

It wasn't long afterwards that Moore scheduled a visit to Clemson for the Apr. 9 spring game.

"I was probably in touch with them for about two days before they offered me," Moore told recently CUTigers.com.

He's familiar with Clemson's run of good defensive linemen.

"I know they have great defensive linemen there," Moore said. "I know they have one of the top picks, Da'Quan Bowers, so I know they have pretty good defensive linemen, a tradition."

The Scout.com three-star prospect has 20 offers to his name, including many from the ACC and Big 10.

"I don't have a top [schools] yet," he said.

Moore's last visit was to Notre Dame for junior day in February. He'll visit Florida and Florida State this week, then he'll hit Clemson.

While in the Palmetto State, Moore also hopes to see South Carolina.

The visit to Clemson will be his first one.

"Basically, I just want to look at the campus, look at the players they have there and want to see if it's a place that I can be at for four years," Moore said.

At first, he wanted to get through the recruiting process as quickly as possible, but that's changed.

"Everything's coming so fast. I have know idea right now," Moore said.
