OT Javarius Leamon Profile
One of those linemen, Woodruff offensive tackle Javarius Leamon, visited Clemson's March Junior Day.
"It was a pretty fun trip," he recently told CUTigers.com. "We got to run down the hill and everything. They showed us around the whole school, what it was like on game day."
Leamon has offers from Clemson, South Carolina, Auburn, Tennessee and East Carolina.
This spring, the Scout.com three-star offensive tackle also visited to South Carolina, Auburn and Georgia.
What stood out about that visit to South Carolina?
"The coaches and everything. They're were pretty cool," Leamon said. "I didn't get to really stay there, because me, Oliver Jones and Patrick Destefano had to do that All-American photo shoot. After that, we only stayed a couple of minutes, because I had a basketball game, so we didn't stay down there very long at Carolina."
He said another visit could on deck in the next couple of weeks, but wasn't sure where.
Early on in the process, Leamon indicated that Clemson and South Carolina stood out. Early projections pegged him to South Carolina.
Several out of state schools are now in firm contention, but he didn't offer an indication as to which direction he'll head on signing day.
"I don't have any favorites, not right now," he said.
Clemson recruiting coordinator/wide receiver coach Jeff Scott serves as Leamon's primary recruiter for the Tigers.
