Dillon High School sophomore offensive tackle D.J. Park also has also planned visits to N.C. State, Wake Forest and East Carolina.

His last trip to Clemson was for the January Junior Day.

"They showed us around the school, took us to the basketball game, showed us inside some of the buildings and the players live," Park told CUTigers.com earlier this week.

What stands out about the Tigers?

"They're as serious about grades as they are about football," he said.

Clemson defensive coordinator Kevin Steele, who hails from Dillon, runs the point on Park's recruitment.

While in Tigertown, Park said he spoke with "just about all" of the coaches.

He was in Columbia last week to watch the Gamecocks practice. Defensive line coach Brad Lawing serves as the recruiter for South Carolina.

Park currently holds offers from Clemson, N.C. State, Wake Forest and Coastal Carolina and claims no favorites.
