Clemson's next hardwood commitment?

Clemson signed two more 2011 prospects when the spring signing period began on Wednesday. Might the Tigers add another while hosting an official visitor?

Laney High School (Augusta) senior combo guard Rod Hall will make the trek up to Clemson this Friday for his official visit with his mother.

"I just want to see the campus and the team," he told earlier this week.

Hall and his primary recruiter to Clemson, assistant coach Earl Grant last spoke on Monday.

"He was just telling me what time I need to get up there," Hall said.

Did talk about an offer come up?

"Not really," Hall said. "I think I'm going to get it when I go up there."

If Clemson was to offer while he was on official visit, Hall admitted that he would probably commit on the spot.

"I like that they're a very aggressive team. They like playing defense. Defense is the main thing that starts their offense," Hall said.

As a senior at Laney, Hall averaged 24.6 points, eight rebounds four assists and three steals.

He was also a standout on the football field at Laney. As a senior, he had 1,200 yards receiving and 13 touchdowns and was named to the Georgia AA all-state team.

Hall currently claims offers from Nebraska, Coastal Carolina and Tennessee State. Top Stories
