The Oxford High School (Ala.) three-star, who was born in Harrisburg, S.C., maintains that Clemson is still among his favorites.

After performing at last Friday's Nike Football Training Camp, Elston spent a few minutes with CUTigers.com.

"I tell everybody I like Clemson, but all schools are in it," he said. "Anything can happen."

The Scout.com No. 22 ranked cornerback in the class of 2012 broke down the four schools that are among his favorites.

Clemson: It's close to home. That's where my hometown is…it's close to home, if I'm there. A lot of family's there, so they could see me play.

Auburn: I like the War Eagle. Roll Tide, War Eagle, I go for War Eagle. All my family in Alabama likes Auburn. I went to a lot of games at Auburn, so I like they're interest in me.

Alabama: They've got a lot of DBs. I know if I go there I've got a lot of competition. It gets me better."

LSU: Since they lost Patrick Peterson, a lot of DBs aren't really giving them any attention. They've got good DB coaches. They can put you in the league, too. Just like Alabama, LSU can put you in the league.

As a junior, Elston finished with 104 tackles, three interceptions and eight pass breakups. He also had 28 catches for 528 yards and six touchdowns, and a punt and kick return for touchdown.
