Marshall rushed for 1,550 yards and 17 touchdowns as a junior. As a sophomore, he rushed for 1,166 yards and 12 touchdowns and had 200 yards receiving with two touchdowns.
The following is a full, unedited transcript of an e-mail interview with CUTigers.com.
You recently listed Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Notre Dame, South Carolina, Stanford, and USC as schools that you're focused on. Is that the case? If so, when do you plan on cutting the list down again?
Marshall: I'm not sure yet.
Would you mind sharing a thought about each of the schools? What stands out about each one?
Marshall: Alabama - They have a great program and have produced a lot of good running backs.
Auburn - They just won a National Championship and I really like the coaching staf there.
Clemson - They have a good tradition and usually have a good program.
Florida - Great program and their new staff has had a lot of success in college and in the NFL.
Florida State - They normally have a good program and they are on the rise.
Georgia - They always have good running backs and I like the coaches.
Michigan - Great tradition and good school.
North Carolina - Program on the rise and a great school.
Notre Dame - Great school, great tradition, and they are on the rise.
South Carolina - Have a good program and I like the coaches.
Stanford - Good program but great school.
USC - Have a winning tradition and a tradition of having great running backs.
Where all have you been this spring?
Marshall: I've been to UGA, Auburn, Florida, South Carolina, and FSU.
Do you plan on taking any other visits?
Marshall: I don't have any more planned yet.
What schools have been by to see you this past week?
Marshall: Auburn, Georgia, Notre Dame, Michigan, Arkansas, Tennessee, Miami, South Carolina, ECU, Illinois, Wake Forest, Alabama, and Duke came by last week.
After former Clemson running backs coach Andre Powell left, you weren't sure who Clemson had as your primary recruiter. as that changed? Do you have someone from Clemson that's in regular contact with you now?
Marshall: Coach Caldwell is my primary recruiter though I don't talk to him as much as I use to talk to coach Powell.
Plans for the summer. What schools will you visit? Will you do anything else, outside of visits?
Marshall: I don't know where I'll be visiting and I'll be very involved in track.
Timeline of plans...when will the official visits start? Will you wait until signing day to make a decision?
Marshall: I'm planning on committing in December.
