South Lenoir High School (Deep Run, N.C.) junior defensive tackle K'Hardee Hooker caught up with Hobby on Wednesday.

"I talked coach Hobby last night, he said he'll be by," Hooker told CUTigers.com on Thursday. "He was my recruiting coach when he was at Duke. He wanted to get my film to the Clemson coaching staff because they haven't seen it yet. He wanted to offer me when he was at Duke.

"I already know how he feels about me, so he wants to get the Clemson coaching staff my film so I can get an offer from them.

He's yet to visit Clemson, but plans to do so sometime this summer.

N.C. State, East Carolina and Maryland have already sent coaches by South Lenoir. Arkansas, North Carolina and Clemson are also expected to make rounds, too.

The Scout.com three-star holds offers from Auburn, South Carolina, Louisville, Virginia Tech, N.C. State, North Carolina, Duke, Vanderbilt, Arkansas and Georgia Tech.

"I really don't have any favorites right now," he said. "I'm pretty much open to everybody. I'm just weighing all of my options."

Hardee hopes the ACC Tigers send one his way.

"That's one school that I'm interested in—Clemson," he said.

As a junior, Hooker had 79 tackles, seven sacks, seven forced fumbles, five blocked kicks, and 15 quarterback hurries.
