CB Devontre Parnell Profile
Fairfield-Central High School junior Devontre Parnell hasn't picked up an offer from Clemson, though that could be on the way within the next few weeks.
"They're still evaluating me right now because we're still in the evaluating period, but they should offer soon," Parnell recently told CUTigers.com.
Alabama, South Carolina, East Carolina and N.C. State also visited this week.
N.C. State and East Carolina offered this week, joining Louisville, Wake Forest, Illinois, Kentucky and Vanderbilt. He hopes Clemson gets into the mix.
"I like everything about Clemson. I like the rock. I took a visit there in early March for junior day. I like the facilities, so I've got a high interest in Clemson," Parnell said.
As a junior, he finished with 58 tackles, 25 assists, 4 interceptions, 10 pass break ups and a fumble recovery. A timetable for a decision has not been set.
"I don't really know what I want to do yet. I'm just getting the recruiting process going," Parnell said.
What schools are sticking out?
"Alabama, Miami, LSU, Kentucky and Clemson," he said.
