Rhaheim Ledbetter, the state's top safety prospect, spoke with Brooks after his visit to the school.

"He came by last week and called me afterwards. It was a good conversation with me and my family," Ledbetter told CUTigers.com last week.

The nation's No. 23 safety in the class of 2012 went into specifics about the conversation.

"He was talking to me about academics, the life at Clemson. He was talking about me coming down there and having an important role at Clemson," Ledbetter said.

"Clemson, coach Brooks wants me to come back down, if I have the time and can get away from the summer workouts…I hadn't really talked to him in a while, since he came by last week. He called me. I try to keep in touch with him."

Ledbetter named a few of the positives he believes the Tigers have going for themselves. "They have a good recruiting class that came in this year. That was nice. The coaching staff, I like Dabo. He's real cool," he said.

The Scout.com three-star said South Carolina and Florida are currently recruiting him the hardest.

Currently, he claims no favorites.

"This summer, I plan on going to Miami. I plan on going to South Carolina and Florida, if I can get all three of them in. I also want to take a trip to Alabama," Ledbetter said.

As a junior, he had 60 tackles, five tackles for loss and four forced fumbles. Ledbetter also rushed 106 times for 567 yards and 22 touchdowns.
