And there are plenty for Wando High School junior defensive end Gimel President to chose from.

The Scout.com four-star prospect currently holds several impressive suitors. The list of offers includes Clemson, South Carolina, Auburn, North Carolina, Tennessee, Oklahoma and Virginia Tech.

"I'll probably narrow it down two weeks after spring ball," he told CUTigers.com on Wednesday. "The spring game is Friday. So probably two weeks after that…probably five or six [schools]."

Several areas will be evaluated as President moves closer to that decision.

"Team's players, graduation rate, academics and a major that I would want to take, if they have it," he said.

Clemson, N.C. State, East Carolina and North Carolina, Oklahoma, Georgia Tech and Tennessee have visited the school this spring.

Tiger running backs coach Tony Elliott, who recruits the Charleston area, has already stopped by Wando this month.

"I talk to him almost everyday. He messages me on Facebook...he's from Charleston," President said. "He's pretty funny. Every time we talk on the phone, he always likes to mess around. He asks a lot of questions, like when I'm coming to Clemson."

Clemson defensive tackles coach Dan Brooks recruited the area prior to Elliott joining the staff. President remains in touch with Brooks. He also communicates with defensive ends coach Marion Hobby.

"I've called him twice and I've messaged him on Facebook," President said.

The Scout.com No. 20 defensive end last visited Clemson for the January basketball game against Florida State. He's taken an estimated five or six trips to Tigertown.

What's stood out?

"The rock. The academic tutoring that they have. I like the tutoring place," he said.

A visit to Clemson is on tap for the summer. President plans on heading to Tennessee and Auburn, too.

As a junior, he had 83 tackles (37 solo), nine sacks, two forced fumbles and an interception.
