Bishop Kenny High School [Jacksonville, Fla.] rising junior Ahmad Fulwood was offered by Clemson wide receivers coach Jeff Scott during the May evaluation period.
Fulwood returned the favor and made his first trip up to Tigertown.
"We got in Tuesday night," he told CUTigers.com Wednesday evening. "We stayed in Greenville, ate at Carolina Ale House. We actually didn't get to Clemson until this morning."
The 6-foot-4, 200-pound wide receiver was joined by two teammates, 2014 quarterback John Wolford and 2012 linebacker Desmond Huff.
After the morning camp session, around lunchtime, the group toured the Clemson campus.
Jeff Scott, who offered Fulwood in May, serves as his primary recruiter.
Fulwood said he enjoyed getting to work with Scott, who serves as his primary recruiter.
"He always had something to help me get better at, something that he pointed out that I should definitely work on," Fulwood said.
What stood out?
"How big the fan support at Clemson altogether, all the alumnus putting so much money into the football foundation," he said. "They definitely have a really good base. The football stadium is amazing. The tradition down there is unbelievable as well."
On Thursday, the group will visit South Carolina. Over the weekend, they will visit Duke and Wake Forest.
As a sophomore, Fulwood had 29 catches for 515 yards and eight touchdowns.
