QB Justin Knox
6-1, 180, 4.55
Union High School
Union, South Carolina
"I really like South Carolina and North Carolina," says the 6-foot-1, 180 pounder. "South Carolina is really close to home, and North Carolina has a beautiful campus and I have a former teammate (Mickey Rice) up there."
Three other schools are also inside Knox's top-five.
"I visited Wake Forest a little while ago. I really liked their academics and they have a good program as well. I was always a Clemson fan, but I am not sure just how interested they are in me. Penn State also started to really send me mail in the last month as well."
Knox has several variant offenses on his list - from spread to more conventional types. However, somewhere in the middle is where Justin would like to play.
"Last year we utilized my running skills more. We are a pass first offense, then run, but I finished with 700 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns. I want to develop my passing skills more this summer, and throw for more yards."
If Knox is able to expound upon his 2800 passing yards and 28 touchdowns to just 9 interceptions, it would be a feat worth watching both next season. We will continue to keep you updated on Justin Knox, right up through signing day.
