Spring Valley High School
Columbia, South Carolina

One of the top at his position in the nation, Spring Valley (SC) offensive lineman Leon Hart is now up to eight offers.

"Penn State and Virginia have offered, so now I have eight" says the 6-foot-5, 285 pounder. Those teams include Clemson, Duke, Georgia, Maryland, Penn State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, and Virginia. Hart is not ready to limit his options.

"I am going to start narrowing down and announce a new field after the season, then take some visits and announce on signing day."

Hart, who finished his junior season grading out at 87 percent and had 50 pancake blocks, is looking for a school with good academics in computer engineering and a solid football team.

Hart's strength lies in his footwook and his ability to hold off a fierce pass rush. He also plays on the defensive line for the Vikings, but most college scouts like him more on offense.

Clemson assistant Brad Scott is on the recruiting trail for the Tigers, while Skip Holtz leads the effort for South Carolina.

We will continue to keep you up to date on Leon Hart, throughout the recruiting process.
