Wake Forest, East Carolina, Marshall and Florida International have offered. So have S.C. State, Furman, Hampton and Coastal Carolina.

Clemson has not.

"I was at the Clemson camp, but I haven't heard from the coaches yet," McLaughlin recently told CUTigers.com. "I talked to [Mauldin High School] coach [Doug] Shaw heard that they're still doing they're recruiting process after camp. I'll be at Virginia Tech camp this Saturday."

The 6-foot-5, 280-pound offensive tackle from Mauldin High School has a few other trips in mind for the near future.

"I'm going to go on a visit to East Carolina. I don't know when yet. I'm planning a visit to Marshall. I don't know if I'm going to make it to Florida International," he said.

Scout.com ranks McLaughlin as the No. 58 offensive tackle in the class of 2012.

"I don't have any favorites right now. I'm keeping all of my recruiting open right now," he said.

Originally, a decision was going to be reached before his senior season.

"My plan was to make it at the end of the summer but I'm not sure right now," McLaughlin said.
