WR Ahmad Fulwood Profile
Along with the trip to Clemson, Ahmad Fulwood visited South Carolina, Florida, Duke, Wake Forest, Miami and Tennessee.
"I just wanted to see some of the schools. Pretty much every where I went I have offers from. I just wanted to check them out and see what they're like," he said.
Fulwood hopes to take a few visits later this fall.
"I'm going to try to get to a couple of games. I know my quarterback [John Wolford] and I are thinking about going to Arkansas' first game," he said. "We're definitely going to try to get to a Clemson game."
There's plenty of appeal with the Tigers.
"Just that whole college town atmosphere. That fan-base is ridiculous -- the tradition behind it, too. I heard Saturdays are crazy at Clemson. That's pretty much what I love about Clemson," Fulwood said.
Clemson, South Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Notre Dame, Miami and Arkansas are among several offers that Fulwood already has to his name. The 6-foot-4, 200-pound wide receiver already has a timeframe for his decision.
"I think I'm going to go to a top seven after the season. I'm going to think about committing either over the summer or next fall," he said.
Several factors will be considered as Fulwood works towards that decision.
"Early playing time, academics are going to be a really big one. Personally, home, it's not a big issue, but I'd like to be as close as possible," he said. "A place where I build a good relationship with the receivers coach, or the coaches, period. A place that's kind of like home."
As a sophomore, Fulwood had 29 catches for 515 yards and eight touchdowns
