OG Brandon Kublanow Profile
Clemson is one of those schools that has its eye on Walton High School [Marietta, Ga.] junior Brandon Kublanow.
The interest is mutual.
"They're in the ACC. They seem like they have a great program. They're usually one of the top programs. It seems like it would be fun to play there," he recently told CUTigers.com.
Over the summer, Kublanow went to Georgia, Vanderbilt, Duke and Wake Forest for camp stops.
The 6-foot-2, 280-pound prospect was asked to "tone it down" after he bloodied the nose of another camper at the Wake Forest camp.
Kublanow has started to think about destinations for the fall.
"I definitely want to get up to Clemson, UGA, Auburn, Alabama, Florida State -- we'll just see what I can fit in," he said.
Georgia Tech has also expressed interest in Kublanow. Currently, there are no favorites.
"It's hard to say, because it's so early," he said.
Several factors will be taken into consideration as Kublanow continues through the recruiting process.
"Academics is one of the top things and the way they do things do things around are. I want to work hard. I want to have coaches that are going to go at us," he said.
