WR Shaquille Davidson Profile
And he's already picked up an offer from South Carolina. A few days earlier, Gaffney High School wide receiver Shaquille Davidson visited Clemson for the Tigers' win over Auburn.
"It was pretty good. I like it down there. They have a really good atmosphere. I liked it," he recently told CUTigers.com.
The 6-foot-1, 168-pound sophomore believes Clemson will offer, too.
"I think they will. My coach has been telling me a lot about them," Davidson said.
His visit earlier this month was the first-time he saw Clemson as a football recruit. He was down last season for the Miami game, but was a basketball visitor.
"I think it's a really good school. They're real good academics and they have a pretty good coaching staff," Davidson said.
Clemson, South Carolina, Wake Forest, Georgetown and Notre Dame have expressed interest in him as a basketball player.
So far, the in-state schools and Pittsburgh that have expressed interest for football.
"I really want to try to play both. I'm going to see if I have to make it one," he said.
This season, Davidson has 19 catches for 497 yards and six touchdowns.
