WEEK 6: Friday Night Lights

Fox Creek got another big-time performance from Clemson commitment Marty Williams on Friday night.

And once again, the Predators won.

Fox Creek improved to 7-0 with a 34-0 homecoming win against Hunter-Kinard-Tyler. Williams connected on 7 of 10 passes for 133 yards and a two touchdowns. He also rushed 16 times for 79 yards and a score.

Clemson commitment Cordrea Tankersley rushed for 56 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries as Silver Bluff fell 20-14 on the road to Swansea. The four-star also completed 7 of 12 throws for 96 yards and a score.

Fellow Tiger commitment WR Germone Hopper caught a 48-yard touchdown pass in Berry Academy's 21-19 win against West Mecklenburg.

In Goose Creek's 49-0 romp of rival Stratford, LB T.J. Burrell, another pledge to the orange and white, had five tackles, a pass breakup and a forced fumble.

Clemson's only quarterback in the 2012 class, Chad Kelly c,ompleted 15 of 27 passes for 278 yards with four touchdowns and seven carries and 82 yards in St. Joe's 27-20 win over St. Francis. Kelly is scheduled to make his official visit to Tigertown in November.

Before 6,500 fans at Traz Powell Stadium, Miami Norland outside linebacker Keith Brown, a Miami commitment, had eight tackles and four tackles for loss. Norland beat Northwestern 27-15. Brown visited Clemson officially last weekend for the Florida State game.

Four-star defensive tackle Carlos Watkins had nine tackles, three tackles for loss and a pass breakup. Watkins is scheduled to make his decision on Oct. 14 between a handful of schools, with Clemson and Florida currently at the top of his list.

2013 WR target Ahmad Fulwood caught five passes for 177 yards and four touchdowns in a 34-7 win over Ridgeview.

His quarterback, John Wolford, completed 14 of 21 passes for 318 yards and five touchdowns.

Dillon running back Jabo Lee carried seven times for 108 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-0 win over Aynor.

Tarean Folston rushed 11 times for 106 yards and two touchdowns in Cocoa's 30-3 victory against Merritt Island.

Butler's Riley Ferguson completed 11-of-13 passes for 167 yards and three scores in the Bulldog's 52-0 win over East Meck.

2013 DB/WR Tramel Terry had four catches for 89 yards and a touchdown in the first half of Goose Creek's win. He finished with 120 yards. Terry, a one-time commitment to Georgia, has backed off that pledge and is now considering the Bulldogs, along with Clemson and South Carolina.

Woodruff pummeled Emerald 56-21 in a region matchup, during which Blake Bone had four receptions for 73 yards and a touchdown.

2014 QB Deshaun Watson connected on 16 of 22 passes for 230 yards and five touchdowns and rushed for 50 yards. Watson has been a regular visitor in Death Valley this season and has maintained to CUTigers he wants to make an early commitment.
