CB Chocolate Wilson Profile
One of the area's top prospects, 2013 cornerback Chocolate Wilson, has turned a few heads on the recruiting trail.
Along with Clemson, South Carolina Alabama, Georgia Tech, Notre Dame and ECU are also in touch with the junior.
Purdue offered in the spring.
"I haven't taken any visits [this fall], but I'm supposed to be going to the Georgia versus Georgia Tech game in a couple of more weeks," Wilson told CUTigers.com in an interview. "I'm supposed to be taking a visit to Purdue in December."
The 5-foot-10, 160-pound junior is still looking to make his first trip up to Tigertown, but he's familiar with the territory.
"I've gotten letters asking me to come up for a game, but I haven't had the time to go up there and visit," he said.
What stands out about Clemson?
"The tradition, I love the tradition. I like the coaching staff."
"Clemson, South Carolina, Florida, LSU and Alabama."
This season, Wilson has 36 tackles, five interceptions and a kickoff return for a touchdown. As a sophomore, he had four interceptions.
