Georgia offered Leon Hart before he knew it. Actually Georgia made it known to Hart's high school coach that a scholarship offer has been extended. But instead of telling Hart about the offer, Spring Valley's head coach decided to let Georgia's Jon Fabris tell Hart.

"Georgia offered me about two days ago and I am interested in Georgia," said the projected lineman. "Coach Fabris said that Georgia is very interested me. Coach Fabris said that when he looks for players he only looks for the best," said Hart of his offer.

Said Hart of Georgia: "I like how they are a college town. I want to get my education and I know that they have a great football program too."

Hart is not set yet on if he would rather play early in college or if he should take a redshirt season to grow. "I would not mind playing as a freshman, but I would also like to develop. So I would not mind a redshirt season," he said.

"Right now it does not matter to me if I stay at home or if I go away," Hart said. Spring Valley is located in the heart of Columbia, near the University of South Carolina. "I just want the best program that suits me," he said.

From all of the offers that he already has, Hart will have several programs to choose from. Why?

"I have great feet and I play with good leverage I can pass block and run block. I really use my hands well," he said. "I like to get knock downs (pancake blocks), that gets me excited. Something drives me. I just want to go out there and play to my best ability," he added.

Hart, who finished his junior season grading out at 87 percent and had 50 pancake blocks, is also looking for a school with good academics in computer engineering and a solid football team.

"I am interested in all schools that I am interested in me," said Hart of all of his offers. "I am going to camp at both Clemson and South Carolina this summer. I don't know where I am going for my final camp yet," he said.

Clemson assistant Brad Scott is on the recruiting trail for the Tigers, while Skip Holtz leads the effort for South Carolina.
