Eagles Landing Christian Academy [McDonough, Ga.] junior defensive end Isaac Rochell made it to Clemson for the North Carolina game. His most recent visit since was to Alabama for the LSU game.

The 6-foot-5, 237-pound junior recently spoke to about the two trips.

Clemson: I really do like Clemson. I like the atmosphere...there were a lot of people. It was a pretty big crowd. I got to speak to coach [Marion] Hobby afterwards, which was good. It was a great experience.

Alabama: It was really exciting. It was cool getting to hang out with some of the top recruits. It was a good atmosphere. It was really nice. It's kind of one of those things, not many people got to go. It was a cool experience. I got to go as a recruit. It was a fun experience. It's something monumental, to say you got to go to that game.

Rochell spoke further about his conversation with Hobby.

"A lot of it was just kind of casual talk, because I do talk to him a lot on Facebook. As far as the athletics, football perspective of it, we've already had discussions on that. It was more of building a relationship."

He also visited Georgia Tech for the North Carolina game. Next weekend, he'll head back to Atlanta for the Georgia and Georgia Tech showdown.

With offers from several of the major players around the southeast, Rochell continues to weigh his options.

"There are definitely schools I like and schools that I'm really keeping an eye on," he said. "When I play games, people ask me after. I just tell them I'm still focusing on high school. Ultimately, I still have this year and next year for high school. As far as football, high school is the only thing that matters now."

A commitment could be made by the summer.

"I could just focus on my senior season and have a good time, really enjoy it and not worry about the recruiting process," Rochell said. Top Stories
