Sophomore quarterback Deshaun Watson led Gainesville [Ga.] to a 35-21 win over No. 1 ranked Sandy Creek. The No. 6 Red Elephants improved to 12-1 on the season and will play in the Georgia AAA state finals this Friday.
Watson, who was first offered by Clemson, completed 25 of 35 passes for 220 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed for 100 yards and three scores.
Another young quarterback with a Clemson offer, First Coast [Jacksonville, Fla.] freshman DeAndre Johnson, led his team to a playoff win last week.
Johnson completed 18 of 36 passes for 171 yards and a touchdown in First Coast's 31-24 win over Fleming Island. He also rushed 10 times for 24 yards.

Playing with a heavy heart after teammate Jake David died in a car accident early Wednesday morning, junior running back Jabo Lee led Dillon with 85 yards rushing.
Dillon lost 18-15 in the South Carolina AA I Lower State finals to Timberland.
Lee finished the season with 1,642 yards rushing and 26 touchdowns. He's received offers from Virginia Tech, Tennessee and East Carolina.
