The offer went out to Larenz Bryant when tight ends coach/special teams coordinator Danny Pearman stopped by Vance High School in Charlotte.
"Mr. Pearman came by and he talked to my coach for a little bit. He said that he would like to offer me," Bryant recently told CUTigers.com.
What did it mean for him to get the offer from the Tigers?

A trip to Tigertown, which will be his first, is right around the corner.
"I'm going to their junior day in January," Bryant said.
What does he know about Clemson?
"Nothing really. I know it's in South Carolina. That's where I'm from -- Charleston," he said.
Now, he's up to 10 offers. Along with Clemson, Virginia, Virginia Tech, South Carolina, Duke, North Carolina, Illinois, Georgia Tech and East Carolina have offered.
He claims no favorites.
As a junior, Bryant had 144 tackles and rushed for 1,300 yards and 16 touchdowns.
As a sophomore, Bryant he for 1,497 yards and 22 touchdowns.
On the defensive side of the ball he had 56 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, three pass breakups and two interceptions.
