The Tigers' first-year running backs coach stopped by Stephenson High School last week and extended an offer to the No. 14 running back in the class of 2012.

"He came in today at 6 o'clock and was here for about two hours," Davis told CUTigers.com on Tuesday night.

Elliott covered a myriad of topics while visiting with Davis and his mother.

"We went over their running back situation, their plays, basically their whole offense -- things like that, And some academic stuff," Davis said.

There's a good relationship between Elliott and the four-star running back.

"It's always been good. It never went bad. He's been straight up with me since day one. Things are good," Davis said.

Clemson remains in good standing with his mother.

"She's always loved Clemson, because my brother went there," Davis said. "She's always loved Clemson."

For now, he has no other in-home visits scheduled, nor does he have any campus trips in the works.

Davis also listed no favorites.

His decision won't be made until signing day.

As a senior at Stephenson, Davis rushed for 1,928 yards and 21 touchdowns.
