DB Jeff Bush
6-4, 230, 4.7
Jack Britt High School
Fayetteville, North Carolina
The focus for Jack Britt (NC) defensive end Jeff Bush is not on recruiting right now, but rather on the classroom as he wants to boost his GPA.
"I am tring to get my grades up so the teams will look at me harder. I am not that sure if I can make camps this summer at Michigan, because I need to get my grades up, and I think I am going to summer school to do that," says the 6-foot-4, 230 pounder.
"Clemson has offered, but they are my only real offer. Michigan called and are showing a lot of interest. North Carolina was interested, but they backed off some."
Bush admits that while his teammate George Bell has many interested teams, he is not really into recruiting as he pushes himself in the classroom.
"I am not really focusing on (a leader) because I am not a George Bell with every school offering. Any D1-A school that coms along will make me happy right now."
Bush had 88 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, and 6 sacks as a Junior. We will continue to keep you updated on Jeff Bush, right up through signing day 2004.
