LB Andrew Bowman
6-1, 220, 4.6
Hermitage High School
Several teams have verbally offered Hermitage (VA) linebacker Andrew Bowman, but one team has a written offer to him.
"My offers are up with North Carolina and Duke just offering, and a lot of schools came by to see us including East Carolina, Purdue, and Clemson," says the 6-foot-1, 220 pounder who already claimed offers from Virginia and Virginia Tech.
"Virginia Tech is the only school that has put anything in writing, but the rest should have it soon."
Among the recruiting teams, five stand out, including Virginia, Virginia Tech, Clemson, Purdue, and North Carolina, but none stand out.
"No, not right now. I am basically looking at academics, like their graduation rates, the atmosphere, and I want to major in sports medicine."
Bowman should have a busy summer with three camps on his list.
"I am going to three minicamps at North Carolina (June 14), Virginia (June 26), and Richmond (July 17). I want to go on my official visits and then decide after that."
We will continue to keep you updated on Andrew Bowman, right up through signing day 2004.
