WHAT: East Tennessee State at Clemson
WHERE: Littlejohn Coliseum (10,000) - Clemson, S.C.
WHEN: Sunday, Jan. 1 (4 p.m.)
Clemson and East Tennessee State will meet for the eighth time in the series Sunday afternoon at Littlejohn Coliseum.
The Tigers have won all seven games in the series, including as recently as the postseason NIT in 2007 when Clemson won 64-57 on its way to the championship game of the event.
Clemson is coming off a 75-68 loss at Hawaii in the fifth place game of the Diamond Head Classic. The Tigers lost to UTEP, rebounded with an overtime win over Southern Illinois before falling to the host Warriors on Christmas Day.
Meanwhile the Buccaneers enter Sunday's tilt with a 5-6 overall record and have not played since dropping a 66-63 game at Tennessee on Friday, Dec. 23.
The Tigers are lead in scoring by senior guard Andre Young, who is among the top five statistical leaders in six categories within the ACC, including No. 2 in assist-to-turnover ratio (3.1) and free throw accuracy (92.1 percent).
The Bucs are led offensively by four players averaging double figures. Senior wing Adam Sollazzo is the team's leading scorer
at 13.6 points per game, and he is also third on the team in rebounding with 6.3 per game. Marcus Dubose (12.5), Isiah
Brown (11.4) and Tommy Hubbard (10.5) also average double
figures for ETSU, who averages 70 points per game.
Bryan Narcisse suffered a sprained ankle in the Dec. 25 game at Hawaii. He is listed as probable for Sunday's game.
This will be Clemson's last non-conference game of the regular season as the Tigers welcome Florida State to Littlejohn next Saturday, Jan. 7.
