Andre Young, who needed just nine to reach the milestone, finished with a game-high 18 points.
"All my teammates, friends and family they're congratulating me," he said. "It really gives me a good feeling. It's great. I'm blessed to have all of these people around me."
The senior from Albany, Ga. hit his first 10 free-throw attempts but missed the last two from the charity stripe. The foul that sent him to the line blurred his vision.
"It was a couple of goals," Young said, when asked what he saw at the free-throw line. "I thought, maybe, I could make them."
Big day for Bobo…
"They ask me to get rebounds and to post-up hard. That's what I tried to do." - Catalin Baciu
"Bobo brought a bunch of energy and an inside presence. We beat them on the inside because of him." - Milton Jennings
"It feels good. It gives me confidence to play better." - Baciu
"He's a big kid. When he's comfortable and he's locked in, he can be a problem for people, especially when we've got them spread out a little bit." - Brad Brownell
"He just did a tremendous job." - Jennings
The 22-point first half lead…
"We had 11-straight stops in the first half. Obviously, we were able to score off a bunch of those. Then did a good job of keeping them at bay. It's always hard when you have a lead like that, to just keep it at a point where you can relax a little bit." - Brownell
"That's been the norm for this team. We've been on a lot of runs this year where we haven't been able to score, even though we've gotten good shots up." - FSU head coach Leonard Hamilton
"We remember against Illinois my freshman year. We were up by 21 at half. I remember games like that. We all remember games when you're up by 20 and a team just comes right back out…in that locker room, it was urging, urging. Keep that pedal down." - Jennings
"They had to come out and try to get into us. It opened the court for us to drive the ball more. That's one of the reasons why we had so many free-throws." - Brownell
"The coaches had a great game plan in. We really focused on that and really focused on our job. It was just a matter of us going out there, executing and communicating on defense. We did a pretty good job stopping them." - Young
Building some momentum in ACC play…
"We're just going to come out and play every game like it's our last. By the end of the season, we should be up in the top-three, top-four in the ACC. That's our goal." - Jennings
"It gives us a lot of momentum. We're going to go back and look at the film. Obviously, we played really well tonight." - Young
"Coaches did a great job. You have to give them a lot of credit for this one." - Young
