QB Riley Ferguson Profile
Riley Ferguson had one of the best seasons of any quarterback in the South. The junior quarterback helped lead his team to an 11-2 record. Since the end of the season, he has picked up two more scholarship offers.
"I have seven offers now," said Riley Ferguson (6'3/190). "Recently, Notre Dame and Maryland both offered me."
The Butler High School quarterback also has offers from Clemson, LSU, Virginia Tech, Louisville, and Michigan. Another school appears to be close to offering and made the trip to Matthews, N.C. last week.
"Oklahoma came by the school and saw me throw last week," he said. "They are heavily recruiting me right now and are probably about to offer. Arkansas, South Florida, Alabama, and South Carolina are also recruiting me hard."
Over the past few weeks, Clemson, Michigan, LSU, North Carolina, and Vanderbilt have stopped by to see the star quarterback. Ferguson is planning to trim his list to five this summer.
The Bulldogs' quarterback finished last season with nearly 3,000 yards passing, 45 touchdowns, and a 68 percent completion percentage.
