Rooks, a 6-foot-3, 160-pound junior at Charlotte Christian School, visited
Clemson for the first-time since the South Carolina game.
"It was a really good game. I saw a lot of good things in the coaching
staff and off the team," Rooks said of Sunday night's game against the

traffic. It was a great environment. The student sections were crazy."
He believes his future at Clemson is bright.
"I really feel like I'll fit in really well to their program," Rooks said.
"I saw a lot of good things tonight, a lot of run-off screens. That's my
style of game."
Since the commitment to Clemson last May, other schools have backed off of
him. At the time of Clemson's offer, N.C. State, UCLA, Georgetown,
Tennessee, Wake Forest, Xavier, and Virginia were also expressing
Rooks has enjoyed a good start to his junior season at Charlotte
"We're 11-5...everything's going well. We have a tournament next weekend
in Georgia. We're going to play Norcross, so that'll be good competition
for us," he said.
So far this year, he's averaging 15 points, 4.5 assists and 3.5 rebounds
