Young scored a career-high 29 points on 9-of-12 shooting from the field. He also knocked down 7-of-9 shots from behind the 3-point line.
"The power went out, but my power cut on," Young said. "I don't know what it was. It was just going in."
Tanner Smith handed out five assists, most of which were to Young.
"It was good to see Andre have a good night tonight. He's one of those guys we have a bunch of confidence in," Smith said. "For him to have one of those nights where he makes all the shots, it was good. He gave me a few assists knocking down tough jump shots."
"Those type of things, if you're not careful, can get you out of the flow. But we stayed focused on the game, not the situation. We kept it on them." - Bernard Sullivan
"I thought our guys played really well. Handled the power outage situation and halftime, all the strangeness of the game very well." - Brad Brownell
"(Brownell) kind of left us alone. He knew we were playing good defense. He told us the offense would come, but we had to continue to play on the defensive end." - Tanner Smith
The losing skid is over…
"I thought we played really well for 35, 36 minutes. Certainly missed a few free-throws, had a couple of things go against us. They threw some shots in at the end to make it scary. I thought our guys played really well." - Brownell
"We didn't let our confidence waiver. We know we're a good team. We had chances in all three games to get wins, but we just fell short. Tonight, it was just nice to win one of those one possession games." - Smith
"It feels good. It's tough to lose. I hate losing. Getting a win was great, a great feeling. Hopefully, we can build on this." - Sullivan
"We dropped three-straight, so it feels good to be back in the win column." - Young
On Devin Booker not starting…
"Devin didn't have a great game the other day and Bobo has played better." - Brownell
"I know some people are down on Devin and have been upset with him. To show that he's a good kid. I asked him at halftime, ‘Do you want to start or do you want to come off the bench?' he said, ‘Let Bobo start.' That's a pretty mature response." - Brownell
"I've subbed a lot of guys, at times. I'm trying to play our young guys and get them some minutes. We had 10 guys with double-figure minutes tonight. This was our third game in six days. I knew that we were tired. I was hard on them the last two days in practice. I knew that I was going to have to play guys today, so I decided to do it." - Brownell
