Clemson offer in hand

It was last week when Clemson offered one of the top offensive linemen in Georgia's 2013 class.

Chad Morris stopped by Walton High School in Marietta to check up on junior guard Brandon Kublanow and junior running back Tyren Jones.

Both 2013 prospects received offers from the Tigers' offensive coordinator.

"It was a couple of days ago. I just found out today," Kublanow told CUTigers on Wednesday night. "I'm pretty excited."

He added, "I thought they might offer me, but I wasn't too sure. I met the [Morris] for like two seconds, but I had to go to class."

The offer from Clemson joins Georgia, Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt, Boston College, Duke, Maryland and Virginia. Also in contact with the 6-foot-3, 283-pound prospect are Tennessee, Alabama, Miami, South Carolina and Purdue.

Kublanow, who visited Auburn earlier this month, has several trips on tap for the next couple of months.

"I'm going to go to Clemson [in March]. I'm going to UGA this weekend. I'm going to go to Florida and probably Alabama. I'll go to South Carolina, Vandy," he said.

Kublanow did not list any favorites, but plans to make a decision sometime before the start of his senior season at Walton. Top Stories
