It wasn't until the end of December when this powerful defensive tackle had multiple offers on the table.

DT Montravius Adams Profile

And that's just fine for Montravius Adams, the 6-foot-3, 285 pound force who first hit the scene in the annual Georgia Junior Bowl late last year.

While Clemson offered first, a host of other schools, including Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Miami and Michigan State have since moved in.

"It feels pretty good. A lot of people don't have the chance to go do what I'm going to do," he told CUTigers. "I like this. I know it' not going to last much longer, but I've got to enjoy it while it's here."

At the Junior Bowl, Adams listed Clemson as his No. 1 school. Is that still the case?

"They're kind of at the top."

Who else is in the mix?

"I'll have to go visit some more schools. I'll have to tell you when I come back."

Adams has taken Junior Day visits to Auburn and Clemson. He'll also head to Georgia, Florida and Alabama.

As for the Clemson trip, Adams said: "I liked it. It was pretty good."

What stood out?

"They're good in both sports [football and basketball]. The coaches are nice."

As a junior, Adams had 85 tackles, 45 tackles for loss and two sacks. Top Stories
