RB Alvin Kamara Profile

Norcross High School [Ga.] junior running back Alvin Kamara didn't expect to pick up a Clemson offer, but it was a pleasant surprise.

"My friend's brother plays for Clemson, Martin Jenkins," Kamara said in an interview with CUTigers. "I'm real close to his family. His little brother [Ryan] also has an offer from Clemson. We grew up together, basically, we're like blood."

The 5-foot-10, 191-pound running back shared his thoughts on the Tigers offense under coordinator Chad Morris.

"From what I know, they've got something real special going on. They're prepared for the future," Kamara said. "Coach Morris sounds like a cool guy. Coach [Tony] Elliott, I've talked with him a few times, and he's down to Earth, real cool.

"They're serious about what they want to do going down the road."

He's visited Clemson on several different occasions over the years, but never as a recruit.

"I'm definitely trying to arrange a visit here soon," Kamara said.

Along with Clemson, Alabama, Auburn, Georgia and Tennessee are among his offers. With eight to his name, he has no list of favorites.

Kamara visited Alabama for junior day. He'll head to Florida later this month and possibly Florida State, too.

As a junior, he rushed for over 1,300 yards and he scored 17 touchdowns. Top Stories
