Purnell Eyeing Plummer?

One of Ohio's top prep players lets everyone know what really is going on in this extensive report. Is new head coach Oliver Purnell already making progress in recruiting different areas of the country? Sure sounds like it.

Cincinnati's Norm Plummer wants everyone to know that no one speaks for him but him and reports on the internet earlier this week are a bit premature.

"I am very interested in Hargrave and the prospects of playing with CJ, but I have not made a decision on where to prep next year." A decision should be coming soon. Laurinburg Institute is said to be coming to visit Norman next week in Cincinnati.

Norman has made several unofficial visits to schools including Ohio State, Providence, Boston College, Miami (Oh), and Dayton. "If I had to say I had a leader it would be Dayton today," but "I'm still open."

Plummer is currently balling with the Queen City Prophets and his team finished in the final four at Mac Irvin's Slam N Jam in Chicago, Illinois over the past weekend. "We played pretty good and we keep getting better."

In July, the Prophets will be playing at several tournaments where college coaches will be in attendance and this may make a difference in Norman's future. Plummer will be doing a live chat with OhioPrepScene very soon.

Plummer's new college list includes, Clemson, Dayton, Illinois, Iowa State, Nebraska, Ohio State, Penn State, Providence, Purdue, Wyoming, and Wright State.
