It's been an active spring for one of the top offensive linemen in both North and South Carolina.

Rockingham Senior High School (N.C.) junior guard Tyrone Crowder has made three junior day visits so far this winter.

"I've been to South Carolina, Alabama and N.C. State," he told CUTigers in a recent interview. "I don't have anything [else] planned right now. There are a couple of junior days on the same day."

Over the last several weeks, things have really picked up for Crowder. He now holds offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, North Carolina, N.C. State and South Carolina.

"It's good, I guess. It shows a lot. It's just great. It feels good," he said.

Clemson, a school that he's visited several times already, remains in the mix.

"Clemson is a good school. I want to get there to their spring practice to check them out, to get to know them more. It's a great school," Crowder said.

Offensive line coach Robbie Caldwell serves as the Tigers' primary recruiter.

"He's a great coach. I'm building a good relationship with him throughout the process," Crowder said. "We talk every week, once a week."

The message is consistent.

"He just tells me to enjoy myself, the recruiting process and have fun," he said.

There is no timeline for a decision.

"Once I feel like I know the school I'm going to go to, I'm just going to go ahead and make the decision," Crowder said. Top Stories
