On Friday afternoon, Clemson offered a pair of junior teammates that are currently committed to North Carolina.

And Clemson offensive line coach Robbie Caldwell didn't stop there.

Along with the offers to Hillside [Durham] duo of Korrin Wiggins and Khris Francis, both of whom committed to North Carolina in February, Caldwell also offered junior tight end Josh McNeil and sophomore wide receiver Travion Thompson.

"It was kind of a surprise, because I didn't think Clemson was going to offer me. We haven't been hearing much from Clemson," Wiggins told CUTigers on Friday afternoon. "It came as a surprised, but it's good. It was a good one."

A 6-foot-1, 190-pound defensive back, Wiggins is interested in Clemson, even though he's currently committed to North Carolina.

"I've always liked Clemson and how they've played, the tradition that they have there. It's always been a school that I was interested in," he said.

Wiggins has tentatively set plans to head down to Tigertown.

"I think I might get down there in April sometime, during their spring. I want to go down there and take a visit there," he said.

Along with his offers from Clemson and North Carolina, Wiggins has offers from Duke, East Carolina and South Carolina.

"I'm just taking all of the other schools. I'm taking all of what they have to offer me," he said. "I'm just looking at that and seeing if it's a better fit for me and seeing what my family thinks. We'll take it from there."

As a junior, Wiggins had 80 tackles, seven interceptions and scored a touchdown.
