The Tigers' offer went to Champagnat Catholic School of Hialeah junior athlete Charles Williams.
"It was a big surprise…I was really excited. I'm very high on Clemson," he told CUTigers on Sunday morning.
The visit made quite an impression.
"It was great," Williams said. "They showed me around. They showed me show everything worked at Clemson. I felt comfortable when I was there."

"I was with coach Brent. He was giving us a tour around school and everything," Williams said.
Clemson was the second Junior Day visit for Williams. He'd already been to Miami's.
Along with the offer from Clemson, he holds offers from Louisville, Purdue, Bowling Green, UMass, Western Kentucky and Bethune-Cookman have offered.
Miami, Notre Dame and Vanderbilt are also expressing interest.
"My top five, right now, would be Clemson, Purdue, Louisville, Western Kentucky and Bowling Green,' he said. "That's in order."
