"It was pretty good," he told CUTigers earlier this week. "I got to talk to the coaches, tour the facilities and see the academic things."

While on the visit, Kublanow spoke with offensive line coach Robbie Caldwell and offensive coordinator Chad Morris.

"They were glad to have me up there and really want me to be at Clemson," Kublanow said.

What stood out the most?

"All of the facilities were really, really nice. I liked the coaches a lot up there."

Kublanow plans to make junior day visits to Florida and North Carolina. A trip to Vanderbilt could also be in the cards.

There are no favorites.

"I pretty open," he said.

Is there a timeline for a decision?

"Before my senior year, I want to be finished [with recruiting]."
